THE TOP 10 THINGS YOU SHOULD CONSIDER BFORE PURCHASING A NEW ACCOUNTING SYSTEM
The list below is from a study conducted by Deliotte and provided to the CPA so it has been compiled completely independent of Reboot Ltd.
Based on 'second time' purchase of accounting software, businesses that took part in the study ranked a list of things to consider when purchasing accounting software in terms of importance.
We provide this information so that you can benefit from the experience of others.
1. Level of support provided by the local firm 2. Developers track record of performance 3. Software's ability to fit the business 4. Growth potential of software 5. Price of Software 6. Quality of documentation 7. Functionality of software 8. Ease of Use 9. Ease of Implementation 10. Software works with existing hardware
It is interesting to note that the 'first time purchasers' of accounting software ranked price as their number one consideration and local service/developers experience were at the bottom of the list. This changes dramatically for 'second time purchasers' who have learnt lessons from the first time around.
